The Hungarian Canadian Cultural Society of Manitoba Inc was established in 1982. The society was created to allow Hungarian Canadians a meeting place to gather to share cultural traditions, events, heritage and stories free from political or religious ideologies. Currently there are 100 members with many more non members participating in events and weekly activities.
The building is located at 443 Selkirk ave and it has under gone recent renovations to showcase the many events offered throughout the year. We feature paint nights, sausage making, cultural customs such as Frasang and Mikulas and many more activities. The doors are always open and welcoming to new members who are interested in participating or learning about Hungarian customs.
We are dedicated to providing you with a true Hungarian hospitality at all of our events. Come hungry and leave with a take out container filled with some of the worlds best foods. We hope to see you at our next event.
